CM released their M3 ROM today. Seems really interesting.
Has anyone tried it? Is it stable enough for daily use?

Flashed it last night. No problems so far.

I've been flashing the latest nightlies every week or so. I've never encountered stability problems.

You state that you flashed it last night, was it not released today?
Just want to make sure were are talking about M3 snapshot.

Probably time difference. I'm in Hong Kong. I refreshed the CM update tool last night my time and saw M3 update.

Just flashed last night and so far im loving it. I do occasionally get all icons on all homescreens to disappear (3-4 times a day) and usually happens when adding a widget to the home screen, but reappear after a minute or so. Other then that everything works great.

Thanks guys. I did flash it on my phone. Working great so far

How's battery life

Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
I charged it over night, removed the charger about 6 hours ago and its down to 85%.
But its too early to tell.
Ill let you know.

have you used AOKP? I never used my nexus 4 stock a single hour so i'm not sure what stock life is like and how the ROMs compare.

ROMs in general have little to no affect on battery life. The major factors that will affect battery life will be your kernel, the apps you have installed and which are running in the back/foreground, and your signal strength in your current area (your phone will chew threw battery if it's trying desperately to latch on to a weak signal). Despite anything you hear or anything a ROM developer claims, the ROM itself really doesn't affect much at all.

Have been using it since release with ZERO issues at all. This ROM has so many features that I love, including volume rocker press to wake screen, loudness tweaks (awesome call volume), great battery life over the last couple of days, distinguishes between HSPA and HSPA+ by showing a H or H+, changing what is in the notification drop down and allowing to enter the toggle screen by swiping down by right side with one finger (could change it to either side), t9 dialer, PIE controls if thats what you are into, Reboot options (recovery, bootloader, or system) and much more while still retaining a completely stock feel.

Love this ROM so far.
