CM launcher preventing LGG4 knock code working

I installed an app yesterday CM launcher but now I can't unlock my phone. I had a knock code set prior to installing it, but now won't register this and because it doesn't even register me attempting to enter knock pattern I can't get to stage of entering back up pin. Please help

Welcome to Android Central! What screen are you stuck on? Does CM Launcher have its own lockscreen?

Personally, I would recommend against any app from Cheetah Mobile. They have some pretty sneaky practices, and there have been constant concerns that their apps send a lot of data back through servers in China. If you're looking for a good alternative launcher, it's hard to go wrong with Nova Launcher or Action Launcher.

Use the power button to bring up the screen.

Not only cheetah mobile does this. From what I hear, any third party launcher will prevent you from using knock code.

Knock code works fine on my LG V20 using Nova Launcher Prime.
