cm7.1 rc1 lockscreen size issue

I recently upgraded my nook from7.0.2 stable release to 7.1 rc1 because of the hibernate function to improve battery life. So far all is great with one exception. The lock.screen is sized to phone size rather than full screen. Its certainly not something I can't live with but if anyone knows a fix I would really appreciate it.
