CM7 for Optimus T

OK. So I tried install CM7 for my Optimus T. Unzip it to my SD card and start flash zip from SDcard with the file name: Mik9-Dee-2.6.32.41.zip file I have this error:
Install from sdcard....
Finding update package....
Opening update package....
Verifying update package.....
E: Wrong digest:
kernel/ZImage
E: Verification failed
Installation aborted.
I did tried couples time, but no luck at all. What I did wrong here? Any tips, advise? Thanks in advance.

For the camera bug I was able to use "camera advance" free from google market, works fine.
00tjonez, don't unzip the rom to your sd card, leave it as is, just copy it to your sd and use "flash from zip" in recovery.

Is this something only computer programmers should do? Something about erasing everything sounds like a newbie no-no, since I don't know how to "nandroid back-up" my previous cargo.

Are you sure "camera advance" is free? It's 2.99 at the Market. I did installed "camera advance lite" though because it's free. But it still did not work. Any body know how to get around this? Everything runs pretty smooth now :):):)except the camera thing. It DID take a lot of battery juice, though compare with the old ROM.:(:(:(

Sorry, yeah, I meant camera advance lite, hmmm, it worked for me, don't know what to tell you.

As far as battery use goes, if you go into settings>cyanogen mod>cpu and pick powersave governor it helps quite a bit.
