CM7 kernels for tethering

So as the title says I need a good kernel that will let me tether. I just flashed this but it keeps erroring out when I try to tether, thoughts? Can't seem to find a good one that's been updated recently.

What ROM are you using? I have CM7.1 flashed, with whatever kernel is flashed during the process (stock, I imagine) and tethering works perfectly.

I'm on CM 7.1 a well, I got rid of the kernel it came with because this one gives better performance generally.

which version of wireless/wifi tether are you using? I found that the 3.1 beta 7 didn't work but 2.0.7 worked for me. you can get it here:

That fixed it, set the CM7 to open, use this app set the security all that jazz and blamo it works.
