CM7 no usb connectivity?

ok i was having problems getting this evo4g up and running with ANY rom, but it seems cm7 is working, the only issue im having now is when I plug my usb cable in it just prompts to tell me usb debugging and mock locations are enabled...this is it...when i go to access the drive in windows I end up not being able to click on anything... it says thee is no disk... I did acomplete clean install with cm7 thinking this is why i had issues before.. ive even tried using a sprint lovers rom to no avail .. not sure why im having so much issues now, ive had an evo once before and never had these issues
