CM7 ROM boot looping, please help

My Lg Optimus S is boot looped at the cool loading screen for the cyanogen mod 7 ROM and it just freezes up. I took out the battery, and booted into the recovery mode (home, volume ^, power) i cant reset or factory wipe the phone cause it doesnt let me pick anything on the screen, pressing any button wont click anything on the screen. All the buttons do are just send it to a screen w/ the ROM Manager logo and when i press it again, it sends me back, having done nothing. I really need help. It is rooted, CM7, LG Optimus S-2.2.2.

So you blame thekraven for bootlooping your phone in his thread, when in reality it's because you did not take the time to read. It is all over the stickies in the Optimus S rooting forum:

DO NOT USE ROM MANAGER ON THE OPTIMUS S, IT WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE!!!

Never use rom manager, stick to this site. If you get it fixed revert to zvd, if on something else, --- here --- then do the automated root --- here --- then you can root zvd, install xionia, and if you so choose to you could upgrade to zvj, root, xionia.

Ok there are several unbrick methods and what not in the stickies at the top of the forum, one dedicated to the Newbs who don't read up first...
But I'm sure that the play store still says that ROM Manager is compatible with our little optimus S!?

Yeah, it does. And bc of that people are gonna continue to use it and mess up their phones...it happens. The only reason I was even snippy with him is bc of what he posted in kraven's cm7 thread. It just rubbed me the wrong way, heh.

Use kdz or something like that it unbricked my phone sometimes you gotta look before asking for help and if all else fails then make a thread otherwise search that's what I did and now I'm running zvd cm9 hope u unbrick your phone

Yea saw that AFTER I posted. Hey I read up before flashing my phone. Do the crime gotta do the time right? And a brick can take time....

I first posted in December, joined in June, lurked since last February. you aren't only one to lurk for a bit. As for ROM manager, I actually sent the Dev an email. so far, no reply

NICE....yeah my buddy had an original evo and was scared to help me root n ROM this puppy. No bootloader, too many radio versions and matched ROMS..lol But the devs here make it seamless.sfhub really made my life easy lol:-[
