CNBC

No you know why Android gets no love. The media has an affair with Apple. I hope all that misinformation shows you how awesome Android is being the #1 mobile OS IN SPITE OF this crap.

Am I missing something? The iPhone doesn't have flash...
Exactly. I actually took a video of the segment and rewatched it. The guy's exact words:
"Here's the thing. It doesn't use Google Wallet, and it doesn't use Flash, so you've kind of got that whole Android fragmentation thing going on."

Only one phone officially uses Google Wallet anyway (the Nexus S 4G, right?), and it doesn't have Flash yet. Definitely some blatant Apple loving, seeing as the iPhone doesn't use Google Wallet or Flash either.

"Is there some legitimate buzz around this phone?" "Yeah, there is. Let me show it to you..."
Because Android phones rarely get legitimate buzz...

Well someone over at CNBC didn't do their research. . .

I wouldn't call it Apple loving. It was a half baked segment by people who are clueless. They didn't even know that Flash isn't available on iOS. It was comical.

Doesn't Fox news have a segment on the nexus sometime later today?

j/k ;-P

I'll get my most reliable news on the GNex from here. From you......guinea pigs.

:D:D

Well you have to at least give Verizon some credit for implanting the name DROID in America's mind as synonymous with Android phones...

Just IMO so dont rage on me after lol, but I feel that although the Droid name has been big and everyone knows it, its not the name people should know. Its the marketing name that is spoon fed to the American masses which just goes to show you how easy it is to implant an idea. Successful inplant just the wrong, or rather just different, one. know what I mean guys? I'm sure you guys all experience this in some way, seeing a friend that sees droid as just droid not as google. It's definitely getting better as the Android name itself is beginning to pick up but just my two cents :)

I'm sorry for that. Flash will be available for the Nexus. In fact, it may be ready before the actual phone releases. Adobe said by the end of the year and they were spot on when releasing Flash for Honeycomb after the Xoom release. I thought this time they may actually say something informative, but it was basically a 1 minute ..."Nothing to see here...Apple is King..." type of expose. Very disappointing and sadly predictable in retrospect. The fact that the guy had one in his hand was the best part.

lol just finished the segment, that was just sooo good to watch.

I'm sure the presenter in the show has an iPad3 on its way to his desk, as he finished his Nexus segment (from what I've read so far, lol)...
