CNN Texts?!

Is anyone else getting breaking news texts from CNN? They say that they don't do text alerts anymore. Is that the app doing it?

If the app was doing it you would get the notification in the status bar.
If its a text coming in then it would be sent to your messaging app.
Since you say your getting texts from CNN i can only assume your getting them in your texting app. Correct?
