How do you turn off color adjustment? In order for blue light filter to work on my Verizon note 5 it says to turn this off first.
1. Open SETTINGS, then tap DISPLAY.
2. Tap on SCREEN MODE.
3. Select ADAPTIVE DISPLAY.
Any of the other screen mode settings will require that the BLUE LIGHT FILTER be turned off.
Often, update issues can be fixed with just clearing the system cache. If that doesn't do it, then I would wonder if you have some setting out of place. You could boot your phone into safe mode and see if you can make the change. Safe mode boots just the system and pre-installed apps, and uses default system settings. You won't lose anything if you do this -- it just doesn't load any of the other apps or settings. You can use this to identify if your issue is with a possibly rogue app or a system setting that somehow got fouled up.
If it's not a setting or an app, then you'll have to consider that your update somehow didn't load correctly. If that's the case, the best way to fix it is to do a factory data reset (FDR). You'll lose everything, so backup your photos and music and such. The phone will reload the OS from memory, and you'll have a phone that is just like it was when you took it from the box. I'd recommend that you not restore a backed up version of your stuff. Rebuild from scratch. If you had a bad app or setting, you'll just restore it onto a new load. Then you're right back where you started.
