How long after the Note 8 was out did Best Buy begin offering the new Deep Sea Blue color? I really want something other than black or purple and am tempted by current 450 off at Best Buy but afraid I will want Note 9 when it comes out.

I have the Deep Sea Blue. You can always get something now and sell it later.

I got the deep sea blue note8 the day it came out at best buy. Which was November 17, 2017. Love it. Hope the note9 comes in a blue color at launch this time.

I like the Deep Sea Blue but I like the Coral Blue of the S9+ even more.

It's going to be a bit, half year or so. So basically can you wait that long, or do you want to get a blue Note 8 or even a blue S9+?

I ordered the blue S8 Note from Best Buy today. The price is right and since I usually pay cash I can still do that if the S9 Note is irresistible. It won't have a sale price for a long time.

I read that the S10 might come in a Brown color. That might be a different color if they decide to that for the N9. Not saying I'd buy it but somebody will. Even a dark red would be a nice change. Even they do a Deep Blue for the N9 I may go that route, something different then the usual Black.

I love the Coral Blue on my S9+. It's cute for sure.

Sadly I expect all the "normal" colors from manufacturers these days. They always release the awesome ones months down the road.

My $0.02 on why? -- Keep sales up. Get people to buy the newer / shiny colors.
