I'm currently in Latvia with my T-mobile Note 2. I received the sim unlock code prior to leaving the U.S. and applied it upon purchasing a Latvian sim and entering the sim card pin. The phone grants me access but immediately begins locking up and issuing an error window stating "unfortunately, Com.android.phone has stopped."
When I enter the mobile settings (which is difficult to do in between crashes) the latvian network is recognized shortly but I cannot change any settings and the network indicator in the pulldown always says searching. I've tried to change the network mode before hand from Automatic LTE/3G/2G to 3G/2G or whatever, but that doesn't help.
If I place the device into Airplane mode, it stops crashing and I can use wifi (which I'm doing now)
