Com.facebook.orca is taking up massive storage space597MB!!...can I delete to free up storage space?

I have 8GB phone.
6gigs used for apps etc...
Deleting photos and videos does not free up.
Is this a cache I can delete?

No, it's part of an app. Facebook doesn't keep their software small.

You can uninstall Facebook and simply open your browser to use it with no loss of function. This will free up all the space you are posting about.
As a side benefit, your phones battery will last longer.
