Com.samsung.android.dialer accessing camera

I have a app called mallioc antisatlker it notifies you if things like your camera is used and what app used it. Everytime I am on a call com.samsung.android.dialer uses my camera ?! Why would this be??

My guess is that it's to do with proximity sensing... Assuming of course that you aren't on a video call lol

Check your phone permission if it has camera permissions on but I wouldn't worry too much and that app to check who's stalking going get you more paranoid if you don't have much of understanding on Android and how it works .
