Combined messagebox

i was under the impression that the Droid would have a combined message box, where all of my emails, sms, and mms would go. but i cant seem to figure out how that works, can someone help me out? or was i completely wrong about the combined inbox?

You can have a combined email account (though you will sacrifice push it seems for your gmail accounts). Have not heard or seen options to combine SMS with Email however.
