Coming from a Motorola Droid Turbo Original

Has anyone come from this device to the LG V30?

If so, I know that, in regards to video quality, it is far superior but regarding that front facing camera ( many have said it is 't great) how does it compare to the Droid Turbo?

Another factor is signal strength... I work in a metal building and signal strength is not the strongest with the Turbo. I have heard from several that the Google Pixel devices have pretty good antennas and so do the iPhones so how has the signal been on the V30?

I cannot speak to signal strength as I have not paid enough attention to it for any comparisons, but the wifi calling feature (if enabled by your carrier) works great in low signal buildings that have wifi.

My previous phone was an LG G4. It may have had a better front camera than the V30. Maybe not. The V30 front camera is not great but I don't do vlogging with it, so I have no complaints with it.

I went from the Droid Turbo 2 to the LG V30.

I got the the DT2 for its durability as I live on a farm and aren't all that gentle (not intentionally) with my phones. I also selected it for Motorola's generally good battery life reviews. I had to get a warranty replacement DT2 due to issues with its camera. My biggest complaint about that device's camera was its poor low light picture quality. I definitely wouldn't consider myself an expert digicam user. We live in a heavily wooded area and in a cinderblock built home. The DT2 signal strength in the back part of the house, which is under a canopy of very large live-oak trees, was iffy. I also had signal issues when going through certain heavily wooded area.

The V30 camera is decent, but I still get iffy picture quality in low light situations. I seem to have marginally better signal strength in the noted areas. The battery is good... I don't seem to have the great battery life many do, but it isn't often that I am not able to charge up if needed.
