Just got my N6 today.
Took advantage of the sale at the Play Store.
Slowly finding my way around.
Really liking it so far.
I'll post more as I encounter more.
One real pleasant surprise was how dim I can make the screen brightness.
I like to read in bed.
I've only had a couple phones in the past where I can get the brightness down low enough for reading in bed.
What I've done in the past is cut a piece of plastic window tint the size of my screen. It sticks on well enough for night reading, but peels off easy too.
But no need for that with the N6.
.
Coming from the Note2, the size isn't an issue at all.
.
Like I said, I'll post more as I come across them.

Hope you enjoy the N6. I have been loving mine for the last month. Glad to be back on stock android bc i missed my N5. Was using a work iPhone 6+ and just not my cup of tea

Do like the sound of Pandora with the dual speakers.
Also sounds great ran through the Aux jack on my CRV.

I know I've only had it for a day, but I'm not seeing an absolute huge improvement over my Note2. The Nexus 6 is a great device and all, but I could see myself getting by with my Note2 a little longer and saving the $549 I paid for the 64gb Nexus 6.
I mean, with the Note 2 Swappable Battery, and having a 128gb SD card, the only thing I was looking for was a quicker processor and maybe few other improvements, but so far, I see nothing worth $549 over my still going Note2.

I had the same problem coming from my G2. But I know the G2 won't be getting another update and I doubt your Note 2 will be seeing many updates either. I'm pretty confident I'll get another three years of updates at least from the Dev community with the N6 and I was still able to sell my G2 while it was worth it.

Your note 2 is worth about $150, so it's a $400 cost to move to the nexus 6. Definitely a chunk of money though. It depends on what's important to you. If you were chugging along OK on the note 2 maybe consider a much less expensive upgrade to a used note 3 or 4 (or a used nexus 6 rather than a new one).

Another thing that I never really considered is the shape of the phone.
I noticed posts over in the Note4 forums about the square edges on the Note4 vs the Note2.
I'm not sure why some of the manufacturers started going with sharper edges vs the more hand friendly curves.
I like the feel in my hand of my Note2 over the Nexus 6.
.
I never really had an issue with TouchWiz, but I do prefer the clean OS of the Nexus6.
.
I went with a new Nexus vs an older used Note3 or Note4 because I wanted the warranty.

Getting more comfortable.
Although I could have held out longer with my Note2, I don't regret buying this Nexus6.
I do feel a little liberation with the Nexus.
Verizon and Samsung kinda made me feel bound to what they would or wouldn't allow.

I agree on task switching. It's so quick and smooth it makes it a usable function. On the note 4 there was a solid 2 second delay on the multitasking button. It was actually quicker to go to the home screen and the app drawer and open the app you wanted to switch to!

Had the note 4 and completely agree. I use it all the time on Nexus 6.

Sure is a premium built device.
Feels so solid and tight.
.
Boy I just love the clean OS.
No junk - period.
Nothing to bog it down.
Quick, Slick, and fluid.
.
Battery is on par with my Note2.
.
The size is in no way too big for me.
Now my Note2 seems small. :-)

For some reason last night I figured I'd just save my money and send the Nexus6 back.
I took my sim out and put it back in my Note2.
I made it to about an hour before bed, and then I couldn't handle it. The Nexus6 is just so clean.
The OS is pure. And ultimately, the multi-tasking was the clincher.

Jumped in with both feet today.
I decided to Root and install Chroma.
It's supposed to be very similar to stock but totally leaned down.
Pretty cool to start up from a factory reset and have like only 10 apps total.

But do you miss your Pre- still? :D

Boot into webOS from time to time on my HP TouchPad :-)

That's amazing! My username at PreCentral was Lazslo11. After Matias Duarte left I realized it wasn't WebOS I liked it was Duarte's vision of the UI on a cell phone that had me hooked. Nexus only for me! *cheers* :D

Update...
No regrets.
No buyer's remorse.
Running Chroma 7.1 with the Android M Preview Radio, and getting great reception.
Yes, better than my Note2. At my father-in-law's I could often only get 3g. Now I'm getting at least 2 bars LTE. And getting XLTE all around town and work.
