Common Facebook Problems?

This may have been covered, apologies if it has. Why is the native FB app so lame? I'm having to access FB through Opera Mini, which is blazing fast, but the native app takes forever to load. Is it me or is this a common problem on this Inspire?

My wife has had the same problem. She complains about it often. I don't use facebook so I don't have firsthand experience.

Personally, I might try google plus (if any of you are cool enough to have an invite to offer I would be much obliged).

Thanks, yes I'm on Google+ with most of my twitter friends, which are most of my IM+ friends, which are most of my Gtalk friends............I got sucked into this social vortex, and honestly, I'm too old for it. Haha. I do like FB to keep up with friends I graduated with.

I'm using Facebook for Android v 1.6.1 from the Market Place...it's quick...accurate and hasn't given me any problems...I thought the native HTC Facebook and Twitter apps were pretty lame so I disabled them...Twitter for Android v 2.1.1 works really well...you need to take a look at Google+...I'm really starting to like it alot!

freindcaster is an app for FB im tring out. I like it better than stock app,so far...

I went back to version 1.5.4 because I kept having issues.

The app has been slow about notifications for me. Otherwise it's a slow clunky piece of crap.

It certainly needs work! This app is way behind BB, the iPhone and WM versions.
