Compass for Sprint Optimus S

hi NEWBY here ... does anyone know of an app that is a COMPASS (directional) for my phone? Also, can I use my own sounds, music for notifications and alerts? How (... pls. don't say RFM)?

Using your own sounds/music for notification and ringtone can be done by going to Menu> Settings> Sound. For things such as email and text messages you need to launch and go to the settings within the app.

tone picker works very well for assigning notification tones because for whatever reason any ringtones you download from an app can only be assigned as a ringtone and not as notification tones, but tone picker lets you use your ringtones and notification tones and fix's the problem

You're right uber, or you can create a folder on the root of the SD card and name it "ringtones" and place your mp3's in said folder. This will also correct the issue without the need of installing an app. The same can also be done by creating a folder on the root of the SD card and naming it "notifications".
