Whats interesting isn't whether verizon can find out on your particular phone but that this is discussed on an open forum but somehow we think they don't know it's happening. It won't be long before they create a protection that will stop it for everyone.
They've known about "illegal tethering" since the Droid 1 first was rooted.
I doubt it's going to end at their hand anytime soon.. they can make more money off you by going over your quota.
How much is tethering? $25 bucks extra? that gives you 5gb that you may or may not come close to using..
Lot's of us don't have unlimited data, or have that 2x data deal.. If you use 8GB of data, they've now made $30 dollars off you.. 1GB = $10
