Concerned about navigation bar burning in

Hello,

Just got my Pixel from Germany and after using it for a while, I am a little worried about the navigation bar burning in.The navigation bar screen is almost always on, it only goes away when watching videos or playing games.

I know there are apps to change the way it behaves, but I am not fond of installing that sort of apps. Should I be worried?

I surf a lot the web with the phone, and google chrome also keeps the navigation bar.

Surely this is inherent to all Android phones without physical buttons (certainly is for my Sony), and I've never heard of any "burning in" issues before

I have tried this app, but the keyboard is making funny things, and I don't like this kind of third apps.

But thank you for the information.

It would be nice to know how are your Pixels holding up regarding this matter, especially those who have it since day one.

For the rest I am in love with the phone.
