I'm not saying it's happening, but you really, really aren't getting the point here. If you remember the Thunderbolt fiasco, do you think everything was done by the book? Some circumstances call for Verizon to abandon protocol. This happens to be one of those times.

Does it make sense to ask your sources about what typically happens? Sure. Knowing their patterns and how things normally work is usually the best way to figure it out. Just remember that in these cases, what normally happens isn't always the safest bet.

Android podcast just said they know of no set date yet. But I guess a Verizon manager would know. Seems logical to me. Anytime in the next week to week & a half surely.

Waffles has posted like this before. In one he claimed he already had a nexus, in another that he had received Nexus training, in another that it would be released on 11/14. He drops these bombs and that sits back to watch the frenzy. He won't post in this thread again.

Take it with a grain of salt but a Costco manager told me today they get is soon, wouldn't give a date all he would say is before the end of the month. So disappointed in myself for adding to this fire. Oh the shame....lol

This is pretty much the last date I'm holding out for until I start "renting" a phone. The most recent leaks are pointing to the 21st so I'll hold on to optimism for this weekend. I had a guy bring me a prescription today and he had a verizonwireless shirt on. Of course, I asked him about the galaxy nexus. His response was......"Didn't they release that last week??" So these sales guys are either stupid as hell or they're lying like hell. My guess is its 50/50 of both.

Not when the displays and materials arent even in stock.

Also, what device did they do that with? I know for a fact that most Verizon stores had the Razr and Rezound days before launch.
