Some people don't understand that a multicolor LED brings possibilities to different notifications.

First time uploading a video on Youtube, first time to experience backlashes. It's life.

Haters gonna hate man. Don't worry about them. As simple as a multi colored notification light sounds it is actually a big reason for me to get this phone. I'm glad you posted the video so I could see how great the LED is.

No problem. Spurred by AndroidCentral as well, otherwise I wouldn't have made a 'proof' of the LED to maybe the world. Hehe.

Lyk, have you noticed if multi color notification support is built into the people app? it would make sense if people (contact manager) had ability to give people individual colors. just curious.

Hey, so sorry, almost forgot about your question.

Answer: No, the colored notifications do not appear in People app. This is unfortunate.

Anyway, I tried with Lightflow to give notifications an LED blink, it works but abit erratic. If I give it a color, it may or may not flash that color, it can also just flash white. Maybe lightflow need to be updated for ICS?

Hope this helps once again. My testing is very limited.

I can't wait for my own Galaxy Nexus to arrive from UK, but damn delayed till 23 Nov. -_-

Here to confirm: Light Flow works with Galaxy Nexus 100%. You can set the LED to work the way you want with corresponding apps.

Does light flow have a color mixer to create custom colors or just preset colors to choose from?

Preset colors only. But their choice is quite large.
