Confirmed: Verizon Nexus One Cancelled

This is going to get old....just like waiting for the official 2.1 update for my Eris. Eventually I just stopped caring about it. Oh well we will see if there is any new news tomorrow.....

I feel the same way... now if you will all excuse me I'm gonna play with my Nexus One accessories... for a phone I don't have yet.

New to the forum here. I was hoping that someone had insight into the Verizon N1 release. Its seems like everyone is just as frustrated as I am. I did notice one thing after checking Verizon's site. After doing a search for "nexus one," it now directs you out to Google's phone site. This wasn't the case before. I don't know. Do we consider this progress?? lol

Don't waste your time checking the Verizon site.. it wont be there since they are not selling it. Google is selling it directly. The site to be checking is Nexus One Phone - Web meets phone.

One last post before bed. I just want to note Google's lack of consistency and maybe clear a few things up. Here's what we know, the Verizon version of the N1 is said to be released "Spring 2010." Besides the March 23rd rumor which turned out not to be true, this is all we have. So, in theory we could see this phone released anywhere between March 20th, (start of spring) and June 21st, (start of summer.)

But here's what makes me think we could see this phone sooner rather than later. Google released AT&T and Rogers Wireless N1's without a prior public announcement. However, Sprint's version of the N1 has been announced but we see zero change on Google's "coming soon" section. Speaking to Verizon reps is also futile because all their information is speculative.

So, will we see it tomorrow, next week, or next month. My money is on tomorrow, who's with me?

After reading about these screens in the outdoors, I'm starting to have some serious second thoughts on the N1 period at this point... someone just posted that the phone is completely useless under natural sunlight, and I believe I've read that elsewhere as well. That is a total dealbreaker for me if it's that bad. I'll need to see one first before I make up my mind.

Just took my screen protector off of my Eris and am loving it naked...I am not sure if I will use the screen protector on my Nexus One, but cant wait to slide it in it the Innocase II.

I am wondering what else will be announced with the N1, maybe the Car Dock????

My Sirius Radio antenna died yesterday so on the way to work I plugged in my Eris and jammed down the road to Pandora. Then I got an idea....wow, if Sirius had an app for Android and I had a good car dock that is all I need in my car. Get rid of my Tom Tom, Sirius radio, and just use my N1.....

Ok well here goes to hoping I can order my phone today.....C'Mon Google and Verizon, hook us up!!!!

Okay, so you were right on this one. But with any flip of the coin, one has a 50-50 chance of being right. How about we flip another coin and you call it...

Well hopefully the N1 gets prevailed today b/c I need a new phone now, due to me leaving mine on my brothers bumper of his truck and forgetting it there found it on the road ran over.(chasing hoodlums knocking over trash in the subdivision took a hit for the team)

I don't know what to believe anymore. I've tried to make sense out of all of this, but there has not been one solid bit of info on this release...only speculation. So really no one can get upset at anyone for saying the opposite of what someone believes about speculation?? Hey who knows maybe ferniesp is an employees somewhere...in which leaked info results in termination of their job. So he only has "trust me."
