Confirmed WORKING WiFi Tether - Latest version pre7

Hey everyone, the latest WiFi Tether app that was released today is working for all 2.2 Rooted Sense ROMs as far as I know. I'm still running the .3 pre-release and it's working for me. I did not flash any custom kernels, just the plain rooted Froyo/Sense ROM. Limited to TWO connections at this time but it IS WORKING.

doesnt work for me (rooted on HTC OTA Froyo 2.2, *FINAL*, build 3.36.651.6 (Rooted) Odexed - xda-developers) with updated radio and 4g but no kernel change, I can see the connection but if I connect I don't get an IP and it just says limited access, if I try an IP renew the connection drops.

Works for me too but why? I am running the ava rev.a froyo with new latest radios and stock kernel. I didn't think the WiFi tether app maker dude could do anything with the latest kernel without the source code.

Mine is working fine on the DEodexed version of this same ROM with the pre7. Try the deodexed version, perhaps?
