Confused about Wifi

Recently switched from Verizon to Project Fi . Im confused.. I have the wifi assistant on for service, but should I leave the regular WiFi switch on at all times too . Im asking this for the Project Fi service not just to leave it on like others do in general . Thank You

Yes, you need to have that on as well.

Thanks ! I just do not see any where in plain english stating leave your regular WiFi on also

WiFi assistant can't help you connect to WiFi networks if the WiFi is off. So, thinking about it - you need WiFi on all the time to make use of the automatic connection to open WiFi networks.
