I'm a teacher and at school I constantly get a card indicating I'm connected to our school's (unreliable) Wi-Fi network. Does this mean I lost connection and then connected again? Or is it just an annoying card saying "yep, still connected to that Wi-Fi!" I'm thinking it must be that I got disconnected because I don't recall this ever happening at home after I initially connect when I get home.

Yes, I think you're right. Do you notice intermittent pauses or dropout of data connection while at the school?

That's what has me puzzled. I don't really use my phone much during the day (you know, on account of educating America's finest youth), but when I have used it I've never noticed a dropped and then reestablished connection, especially as often as the watch seems to be thinking is happening.

Perhaps the dropouts are quick enough to be unnoticeable in terms of performance, but also enough to trigger a notice that it reconnected.

I'm pretty sure it means a drop and reconnect.

At home, I only receive that card when coming home. My wifi at home is very stable.

At work, I'll receive the card periodically throughout the day. I do know at work that my wifi will drop off entirely at times (as I've had mobile data shut completely off before when it's happened, and my internet will cease functioning).
