Connected to USB 3.0 still slow transfer speed, why?

Re: connected to USB 3.0 still slow transfer speed, why?

yeah i knew that...i get a steady connection, but i'm x-ferring mostly music--and i can't see any reason why it would take so long to x-fer...maybe because a good number if them ar ALAC or FLAC so they are obviously larger than mp3's...nice of me to join the conversation, hunh? anyhoo, my cord is the samsung stock and i've trouble shooted what i think is almost everything...i'm sure i missed something! it's been about 15 minutes and only five albums have xferred? my computer is state of the art hardware-and it sees my dev's as connected via correct protocol. oh and i'm transferring from pc to sd card within the phone--and i'm showing my connection as 3.0. yeah, just looked and same albums showing---does anyone think it maybe the software--oh yeah i'm using kies 3 because wjhen i do it via direct connection the music doesn;t show--and it may not display the songs for a while even though they did dl'd ? i ask becase the names of allbums shows -- yikes! i wouldn't even know how to test either. i mean. it doesn't show it like windows does :-\

From what I read, it only works on device, not the SD card. Keep that in mind when testing.

I would cite my sources, but I don't have 10 posts yet.
