AC Question

I have an old Freedom Keyboard BK600, that I used with my Symbian phone (an Ericsson P1), connecting via bluetooth.

Now I am trying to use it with my Samsung Galaxy S8.

However, whilst when I use the smartphone's scan function, it sees the keyboard and it pairs with it, whenever I try to type with the keyboard (on applications like the notepad) it does not work.

Do I need to install drivers on my smartphone?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! When a Bluetooth keyboard is paired, it should prompt you to type a specific string of characters on the keyboard, then Return. If that never happens, then the keyboard isn't pairing correctly, probably because it's extremely out of date.
