Connecting Galaxy S6 to 2014 Honda Civic EX Mirrorlink

Hi, I'm trying to connect my Samsung Galaxy S6 to Mirrorlink in my car, but I'm having some issues. The bluetooth connect, and when I plug in the USB, my phone says it is paired via Mirrorlink and I even get the arrow on the HondaLink home screen, but when I press the arrow, it says "Smartphone is not compatible", but it is because I checked the mirrorlink compatible devices. Any help here? Thanks!

Hi, what software version is your phone running? it might be that it's compatible with a different version?

My phone is on G920VVRU4BOK7 (Lollipop 5.1.1). Each time I connect, my phone doesn't have any issue as it says it's connected via mirror link, the screen on the headunit has a little arrow that pops up where I'm supposed to be able to access mirrorlink certified apps, but when I hit that, it says "connecting" for a little bit before telling me the phone is not compatible. I'm pretty sure it is though.

I have exactly the same issue with my Honda HRV and Samsung S6 (OS 5.1.1)
Have tried all suggestions including Force Stopping Samsung Mirrorlink 1.1 and clearing the cache and all data.
Honda have yet to confirm to me that the latest Mirrorlink is installed ie 1.1 and not just 1.0. Maybe they can provide a firmware update but I'm not holding my breath!
Any ideas would be welcome - is MirrorLink or Bluetooth or USB the problem?
