Connecting gs10.1 to tv

[AC Question]

How do I connect my samsung galaxy note 10.1 tablet to my tv. I was trying to this thru a roku stick. It starts connecting and then stops. I was doing this thru allshare. I had just done this on my samsung galaxy s4 thru mirroring.

A little bit of info came up onthe screen about an allshare dongle. Is this what I need for my tablet or there other devices that will work.

I had no problems using my chromecast to screen mirror or stream content from my SD card to my TV.

I now have a Samsung 'smart' TV and can do allshare casting without a dongle of any kind.

I use Google Chromecast and their new Google "Home" software and it works well for me other than a bit of lag in audio ... Chromecast is plugged into a HDMI port on a VARIO screen for my use...
