Connecting Rezound to a Cradlepoint Router

I am attempting to connect my Rezound to a Cradlepoint PHS300 personal hotspot. I am doing this as I am not rooted, and want to use it for wifi internet. When I connect via USB I am asked to purchase the Verizon hotspot.

Is there a way to do this without root?

Are you wanting to connect a single computer or more than one?

If just one, download the PDAnet app from Google market then download pdanet to your computer. Then connect your Rezound to your computer via USB and enjoy internet on your computer.

There is no way to use the Rezound as a WiFi hotspot without rooting, unless you pay vzw for the service....YUCK!!!!!

Yes, I was trying to use the Cradlepoint as a wifi router, attempting to get around the issue of rooting and hotspot use. If I cannot do that and I don't root by our vacation, I will use the PDAnet app, or something similar.

No wifi hotspot app will allow you to use it without root. That is, unless you pay for the Verizon mobile hotspot. Sorry.
