Connecting Samsung SGH - J700 to the internet

I've just bought a Samsung SGH - J700 to use with a PAYG sim, which has worked fine. I can't seem to find out how to connect it to my wireless internet/broadband....Can any one help?

Also is it possible to get apps such as Facebook and Instagram on it?

I've got a Samsung Galaxy S4 and it's totally different.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about connecting to your mobile carrier's 3G/4G network, or your home wi-fi network?

Did the phone come with Google Play Store? If the phone was intended for the Chinese market, then it probably isn't certified for Google Play, and you probably won't be able to install Facebook (since it's not allowed in China).
