Connecting to a Roku?

Hello everyone,

Has anyone had any luck getting their Roku to connect via their phone? I have tried to search for the best way to do this, but haven't had any success. I have a non-rooted Thunderbolt, and a Roku 2 XS. I have been going online with my computer with my Thunderbolt via USB using programs like clockworkmod Tether and PDANet. I also have a linksys router that is just sitting there.

Anyone have any ideas?

That's a tough one. It is possible to create an ad hoc network and use the router but it is involved. Why not just root? Don't even need custom roms but you could root and get wireless tether, just a thought.

Try FoxFi. I have connected to mine with OpenGarden but that requires root.

OK, couldn't do it so I rooted, and now I'm using Barnacle. The Roku finds the network, but cant connect???
