Connecting to PC

So I'm a bit confused as to why my PC won't see my G6?? It seems something is wrong with my PC. It was detected by my laptop...

Pull down notifications and where it says usb charging, press and select mtp or file transfer.
Your computer is only acting as a charging port until you select something else.

It seems that my PC is being retarded. I rebooted it again and it seems to be working now.
