"connection could not be established'

I have Samsung tablet galaxy 10.1 (app info) internet version 4.0.4-LP11. I go to the site PaperBackSwap.com and able to browse for books, etc (not logged in) When I attempt to log on I get a box saying "connection problem A secure connection could not be established". I have this issue at all wi-fi locations. If I use Firefox I am able to log on. Hopefully you can help me with this issue. Thanks, Kathy
Things I did:
1. Restart tablet
2. Internet settings:
Clear cache
Clear all cookie data
Then restarted tablet again without any luck
