Android Central Question

When connecting to WiFi it keeps prompting me to Authorize the wifi network on my Huawei P20 Pro but does not load the page (connectivity.check.platform.hicloud.com). Why would I need to authorize when I already entered my wifi credentials

Welcome to Android Central! Is this for any wi-fi network, or only a certain one? If it's just a certain one, does that network require you to go to a login webpage and enter credentials there?

Welcome to Android Central! Since you presumably did not ask the original question in this thread, it'd be helpful to get more details about your situation.

I use a Huawei P20 smart (phone) and connect it to my home WLAN since nearly 3 years. The WLAN credentials were saved and did not change.
Probably after a Software Update on the phone (I only suspect this since I read about it here) nearly every time I connect (through a repeater) to my WLAN I get the hint "connected (no internet)", there is a small '!' at the Wifi icon and if I open the error message my phone opens a browser with the target URI ck.platform.hicloud.com - which of course cannot be reached because I have no internet.
I don't use login-page with my home Wifi - entering credentials is enough. Other devices (samsung tablet or samsung phone of my husband work)
Can I get rid of this stupid behaviour? Any tipps or help is welcome and I will let you know, what works!
Kind regards
Sabine
