I sold my iPad after two weeks of getting it (and nearly causing me to throw it against a wall). Bought this tablet and never looked back. Don't get me wrong, iOS is a very capable OS, and app development for iPad is greater compared to Android tablets, but the overall experience was TOO DARN LIMITED to what I've become accustomed with Android.

You can easily find it for $550 new. If you are willing to spend $500 then you should consider the extra $50 to get it.

I've had mine for 1-2 months and I love it.

They collect sales tax when i buy from amazon in NYC ( I use amazon a lot )

Look around, seem to remember a week or two ago some group/merchant was selling refurbished units for around the $400 area....

Refurbished may be better than new as components may have already gone through burn in process.....

Got somebody to buy my Ipad for around $540 and shopped around and found newegg doesnt charge tax + 10% off so i saved some money there
