Constant Best Buy pop up

Every single click on Android Central brings up a black screen followed by a BestBuy popup. I agreed to ads but this is too much. I would much prefer to pay annually for use of the forums. Now, after 3 clicks I am gone from Android Central.

Is there any way to avoid the black screen/popup?

I had the same problem. Best Buy and other ads. I just deleted the buggy Android Central app and it seems to solve the problem. Only my Twitter app shows random pop-up ads now lol. Sucks that even a basic browsing experience on a tablet can be junked-up with ads.

Get an adblocker that blocks ads in apps on your phone such as Adguard Pro. I never turn it off. Saved my sanity for several years now. You can get a deal on a desktop install plus a mobile install. Nothing beats it.

I am accessing Android Central from my desktop computer. I have Adblock Plus on it. It does a great job. But when attempting to read messages on Android Central there was a notice that unless I disabled my adblocker I could not access Android Central. Reluctantly I whitelisted Android Central with the result that I now get the constant black screen and BestBuy popup. I don't mind a few unobtrusive ads but this is highly obtrusive.

Thanks!!! I re-enabled AdBlock+. The ads went away and so far all is well.

In the playstore I only see Adguard. It says it only works with Samsung and Yandex browsers. Plus my ad pop-ups go beyond the web browsing experience. I can be doing something on my notepad or looking at my photo gallery and I still get pop-ups. So not sure how to deal with that. @

It's changed now. Now it won't let me continue without disabling. One thing that seemed to work was to disable the adblock+ to get past the warning popup, then re-enable after I'm in the site.
