Contact charging returns!

Here's hoping that it allows for a car dock that will allow simple insertion and audio/power via a single cable. The dock for the SGS2 leaves much to be desired.

If it has contact charging points, would that preclude the use of a microUSB cable to charge as an alternative?

I regularly use my DX late night in bed, while it is charging, or at least not drawing down the last juice of the day from the phone.

I have the Multimedia dock for the DX but really only wanted a charging stand like what my BB Tour had. The HDMI and USB became a problem to align in the dark so I took my dremmel and ground the HDMI clean off. Worked OK after that, I am going to love the charging contacts.

Maybe its a larger screen that can attach to the phone. like hooking up a monitor to a laptop.

I don't think so. That "tablet" is only a little bit bigger than the phone (maybe 5 or 6 inches). I'm not sure google could pull that off.

no because fortunantly europe says that all phones MUST have a standard USB charger.
