Contact Color

I've got a weird issue I'm trying to work out. For some reason the color for some of my contacts don't match up with the color shown on messages or the phone app. Most of them match but one that's really noticeable is my dad. For some reason his color if I go to my contacts is blue, when I go to calling it's pink and if I go to messages it's brown.... The only place I can find where to change the color is in the messages app and I set that to brown, so how do I get the other colors to actually update?

Same here. It's always been like that. I set the color in the messaging app but the color in the contacts app is different.
