Contact Pics?

when I got my Droid X it imported all my Facebook friends (something I really didn't want), but it also imported their profile pics. I liked having the profile pics next to my contacts even though I didn't need ALL of those contacts. I just wanted the ones that were really my friends. However, when I bought the Maxx and they imported all my contacts, only 1 picture transferred over. Any way I can get them back and then get rid of the FB friends I don't need on my phone?

to my belief, that functionality was disabled a while ago and is no longer officially supported. there might be an unofficial work around though

Look into Hax Sync. You can set it to sync only the FB friends that already exist as contacts on your phone.
