Android Central Question

I know this probably does not belong here but trying to post a question on the google forum i have no idea how to do that.
I have a Samsung A70 and i do sync my contacts. In the past when i changed a contact phone number or address it would sync with my google account, now when i change a contacts phone number on my mobile phone Google reverts it back to the old phone number, i am just wondering if there is a solution to this ?

Regards

Perhaps a glitch has occurred, and the phone needs a simple reboot or a refresh. Its worth a try, as well. When I swapped to my J2, I was having a problem with syncing new numbers with a Note 9 on the same account. I ended up doing a reboot that cleared things up. Things get glitchy, sometimes.

Welcome to Android Central! First, are you certain the contact you're editing is saved to your Google account, or could it be one that's saved to the local Phone account? Is it possible you merged duplicate contacts (one that was in your Google account, the other in your Phone account)?

Also, go to Settings>Accounts, select your Google account, then make sure there are no Sync Errors listed.
