Contacts and messaging issue

So my Verizon fascinate just messed up my contact list regarding my messaging. It actually erased all messages also. For example I get a text from ESPN bur its noted As HOME. Anybody have had this problem?

Hey meeks, are you using your native messenger or are you using handcent/chomp or something like that?

I thing the site addressed the situation but I was using native messaging
