Contacts display in phone log screen

Good morning, I have a problem with dad's s5.
In the phone log screen, only one line shows with the name of the contact, without their phone number (and if the number isn't saved then the digits only appear).
Whereas on mine and on the S4 two lines appear and the contact's name and phone number both are visible.
Any idea how to fix this?

Which carrier are you with.

The phone menus are slightly different amongst the different models.

On a Verizon phone under Call Settings this is an option to display all information available about a recent callers number.

I opened:
Phone,
Recent,
3 Dots:
Settings
Call
and now a long list appears as to how you want the phone to work with a call.

And I've been through this menu but couldn't find it.
