Ok. If I go into contacts and start typing the name of who I want to text, itll bring them up with their number. But, if I open messages and click new message and look for a contact that way, it will bring up the same contact names but list them with email addresses. I can select them, then choose their mobile number to text to. But-is there a way to set it up in messages for it to display their name and number like it does when going straight into Contacts so I dont have to go further in and pick the mobile nbr?

Update:that was with the stock messaging app. When I downloaded Go SMS Pro to test out, it brings up the contacts with their phone numbers. Kind of prefer the stock app in general but will see.

Anyone else have the same issue with the stock app specifically

I get the text option. And if I have an email on file in addition to their number I get an option of both.

I just wish it would, while in the stock text app, and I'm typing the contact name, automatically display the mobile number first since I'm in a messaging app to begin with
