I keep seeing a notification in my battery setting that says Contacts app has high battery usage. Anyone else seeing this? TMobile version, if that matters.

On T-MOBILE here but no alerts of contacts app draining battery

Go to Settings>Accounts and select your Google account. Does it show that Contacts is constantly syncing? If so, there might be a corrupt contact that is causing the sync to get stuck.

Thanks for the tip, that wasn't it, but I'll keep an eye on it.

Also go to Settings>Accounts and see if there are any other accounts besides Google that are also syncing contacts. If there are, and if you don't need them to, turn those contact syncs off.

Mine did that after I used Duo for a video call. Think it was trying to communicate with the contacts app to get everything synced up. Were you using Duo?
