So I have Gingerbread installed and my contacts keep foreclosing.

I open contacts, and when I select someone, it opens the contact them closes back to the main contacts page. Doesn't close the entire app, just backs me out to the main contacts list.

Any ideas?

I have the following apps frozen through Titanium Pro

- Weather 2.3.3
- News 2.3.3
- City ID 1.1.4
- News & Weather 1.3.04
- Skype Mobile 1.6.0.15
- CarDock 1.0
- VZ Navigator 7.1.3.16
- Apps 1.02.18
- Yahoo Contacts 2.3.3
- Flickr Authenticator 2.3.3
- Myspace Authenticator 2.3.3
- Yahoo Mail Authenticator 2.3.3
- Music 2.3.3 (i use Music Beta)
- Quickoffice 3.3.172
- Amazon Kindle 2.0.5.103970165 (WTH version number lol)
- Blockbuster 0.9.99
- DLNA 0709.69
- Madden NFL 11 2143

Did it force close before "freezing" those apps? The only one that might be suspect is the "Yahoo contacts" because it might utilize the native contacts app. Try unfreezing that one and rebooting to see if it solves the problem.

Na, I was messing around in Titanium and there were some apps/services listed that had a line through them. I figured they were not needed so I deleted them lol. Now I go back and look at the names and they are blur services. So now my contacts, and FM radio, and some other stuff Forceclose.

The question is can I just reinstall the Gingerbread files (2 stage install from TBH), or do I need to sbf to Froyo and then reinstall those files on top of that?

Hmmmm

Yikes!! Yeah, be careful. If I may suggest try "freezing" instead of deleting anything. Most likely you will have to start fresh and SBF back to Froyo and then update.

Yeah, I gave it a last ditch effort and tried to redo the patch files over the top. First one took, but second one gave me an error.

Well, looks like it's SBF to Froyo and reapply GB patch files.......ugh. At least i know it only takes about an hour to get it back up and running with all my settings in place.

I'll wait until I get back from Mexico to fix it. :-)

Same thing happened to me when I Frooze a bunch off applications. For me the culprit was the 2 yahoo apps.
