Contacts - ICS update Samsung SII

Hi there

I did the ICS update on 23/05/2012. Last night (24/05/2012) I noticed that when recieving text messages from someone, although they were in my contacts list, the name did not display only the number. I then tried to restore a backup I did on 20/05/2012 via KIES (PC version) and only 47 of my 109 contacts restored.

I have tried running the restore multiple times and I get the same results

I have tried going into the menu and changing the display contacts settings to show all contact data.

Any suggestions please as I do not feel like starting from scratch?

Your contacts should be in your google.account. Re sync that.
