Contacts question

I have gone into contacts, settings and selected to only show my gmail account contacts. It works as long as I'm just scrolling through my contacts. As soon as I start to type my wifes contacts show up. In my gmail contacts it only shows mine and I am synced. Any idea how I can have it only show mine?

Why are your wife's contacts on your phone at all?

If you don't need/want them, go to Settings -> Accounts -> Google, select your wife's account and then turn off Contacts sync.

thats my problem. when I go to settings>accounts>google just my gmail is there. Its also the same thing On her phone
